Four symbols to trade on Monday: $MVIS, $IRE, $BQI, $GSX. Rare day for us - haven't seen a day like this since May, I think. Does it mean something for us, bulls? I don't know, we'll see... depends on Monday action.
$MVIS - MicroVision, Inc. the leader in innovative ultra-miniature laser display technology, today unveiled SHOWWX+™ HDMI as the newest addition to its family of award-winning, pocket-size laser pico projectors. Also next week Thursday they have Q2 2011 earnings conference call scheduled.
Backtested Symbol: $MVIS
Strategy: Pennystocks100 (5 min chart)
Period: July 15, 2010 - July 15, 2011
# Win: 1
# Loss: 1
Winners: 50%
Profit-Loss%: +1.15%
$IRE - terribly oversold Irish Bank. The reason of the rally today is simple - they have passed a pan-European stress test, as expected, after undergoing an earlier assessment as part of an EU-IMF bailout. Dramatic price drop already includes everything you can imagine, except county default so probably from now it should go up... at least in the near term.
Backtested Symbol: $IRE
Strategy: Pennystocks100 (5 min chart)
Period: July 15, 2010 - July 15, 2011
# Win: 5
# Loss: 2
Winners: 71.4%
Profit-Loss%: +18.24%
$BQI - they have seriously good news in the portfolio. Oilsands Quest has received approval from the Government of Saskatchewan to convert portions of the Axe Lake permits to 15-yr leases. Feels commodities are set for a rally continuation, so why not to play lagging symbols, especially on very positive news.
Backtested Symbol: $BQI
Strategy: Pennystocks100 (5 min chart)
Period: July 15, 2010 - July 15, 2011
# Win: 6
# Loss: 2
Winners: 75%
Profit-Loss%: +28.94%
$GSX - spiked like many other oil plays, including $BQI, on news that Petrohawk Energy announced a $12.1 billion takeover bid from Australian mining giant BHP Billiton. This is all part of recent commodities run up. $GSX among other attracts by its chart. There is room till a resistance at $0.30 and my statistics shows it should firmly touch it on the next day, in other words, on Monday.
Great charts price action.
